How to start
Gourmet Cooking is developed through cooking gourmet food at the fridge, stove & countertop. Increasing this skill will unlock new Gourmet cooking tricks, moodlets & recipes.
Levels / Rewards
Acquired skill ~ Sim’s new skill in gourmet cooking will allow him to make meals of a classier variety. the higher the skill level, the more recipes are unlocked.
Level 2 ~ Sim can now prepare butternut gnocchi & chicken saltimbocca.
Level 3 ~ Sim can now prepare herb crusted salmon & spinach frittata. Sim also learned a cool new fancy spices trick move.
Level 4 ~ Sim can now prepare prosciutto-wrapped asparagus. Food made by him also grants the delicious dish moddlet.
Level 5 ~ Sim can now prepare simcity cheesecake & tiered cake. Sim also learned the cool new air slice trick move.
Level 6 ~ Sim can now prepare Rack of Lamb.
Level 7 ~ Sim can now prepare Lobster Tortellini & Lobster Thermidor.
Level 8 ~ Sim can now prepare monte cristo sandwich. Sim can also research advanced cooking techniques on a computer.
Level 9 ~ Sim can now prepare trout meuniere. Sim can also share cooking secrets with other sims.
Level 10 ~ Sim can now prepare baked alaska. Sim can also garnish dishes to increase their quality.

Cheat ~ stats.set_skill_level Major_GourmetCooking 10
Aspiration ~ Master Chef calls for some gourmet cooking skill.
Traits ~ Other than Foodie which is not necessary there are no other traits that will boost gaining this skill.
Mood ~ Inspired
Tip ~ You can sell plates of food in a retail lot.
