How to start
Handiness is built by repairing & upgrading objects or using the woodworking tablet. Increasing this skill unlocks new craftables on the woodworking table & improves sims ability to repair & upgrade objects.
Levels / Rewards
Level 1 ~ Sim new skill in handiness will allow them to salvage parts from piles of junk & repair broken objects. As the skill level increases, more upgrade opportunities will become available.
Level 2 ~ Sim can now perform basic upgrades on plumbing objects & craft furniture at a woodworking table. Sim can also talk about handiness with other sims & purchase upgrade parts on the computer.
Level 3 ~ Sim now has a chance to find rare parts, & can carve a few more sculptures!
Level 4 ~ Sim can now perform advanced upgrades on plumbing objects. Sim can also craft end tables at the woodworking table.
Level 5 ~ Sim’s chance of electrocution while repairing is now lower. Sim can also perform basic upgrades on kitchen objects, craft large sculptures at the woodworking table & brag about handiness to other sims.
Level 6 ~ Sim can now craft dinning tables & chairs at the woodworking table. Sim might also find rare electronic parts from salvaging.
Level 7 ~ Sim can now upgrade plumbing objects twice as fast. Sim can also perform advanced upgrades on kitchen objects.
Level 8 ~ Sim can now perform basic upgrades on electronics objects. Sim can also craft an instrument at a woodworking table, provided that sim is skill level 8 at playing that instrument.
Level 9 ~ Sim can now perform advanced upgrades on electronic objects. Sim can also craft tubs on the woodworking table.
Level 10 ~ Sim will always find rare parts from salvage & can craft toilets at the woodworking table. Sim can also upgrade kitchen objects twice as fast as before & mentor other sims in handiness.

Traits ~ Maker sims will become happy when using the woodworking table
Tip ~ Hidden area in Oasis Spring, The Forgotten Grotto, get to level 10 to unlock
Tip ~ If any options are shaded out hoover mouse over them to see what you need
Tip ~ Decent money can be made from this skill, with baths taking a couple of hours to make and selling for nearly §1500 for excellent quality.
