1/5 Painting
The Painting Skill is probably one of the most popular ways to make money, It doesn’t take long before sims will starting bringing in the big § with this skill. Painting also comes with Painting career, as well as the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration. This is ideal as you can unlock the Marketable trait from the reward store, this will allow you to be able to sell your crafted items for more.
Of course it is base game so anyone can use it. The easel costs only §350 however if you get the Digitalistic Sketchpad for §750 then you can create the painting in HALF the time, which makes this skill not only HIGHLY profitable but also a great way to complete the making money scenario weather or not you only have the base game.
2/5 Writing
Writing is a great way to earn money that comes in after you have sent your book off. Your sim will write a book, go to the mail box to publish or self-publish, then at 10am every day for 20 sim days you sim will get a payment for that book. It will stack books as well so no need to worry about your existing payments.
Writing can be used in the Critic, Style influencer and Writer careers, as well as the freelancer career. of course there is a writing skill. Also being part of the writing you could complete the writing aspiration, which will give you points for the reward store. In the rewards store you can find the marketable trait, this will allow your sims to sell their books at a higher rate.
Your sim can write a whole host of books including children’s, romantic and Skill books, when they have mastered a different skill. The best thing they can Write by far is the BOOK OF LIFE! this book will allow your sim to bring another back to life.
3/5 Gardening
Gardening or Gardening Skill is very profitable, however if you are playing for money alone, then a common mistake people make is by doing a garden with lots of different plants rather than just one that makes the most amount of money.
What you ask is the most profitable plant, the Dragon fruit is, get a sim to level 5, have a Snapdragon and a Strawberry plant, then graft them together. This is the easiest way to get the Dragon fruit, once you have the fruit just keep planting it until you have a massive garden of dragon fruit, selling at around §1,400 each.
4/5 Woodworking Bench
The woodworking Bench, will not only make your sim money from selling the items they crafted, but also your sim can furnish their home with items for a fraction of the price.
As you handiness skill goes up you craft will be worth more, Sims can craft a bath tub and with the help of the marketable trait from the reward store. The bath costs §377 to craft but can sell for anywhere between §750 and §7,000
5/5 Cheat
Of course if you just want money for the sake of it, then you could always just cheat motherlode is the cheat you need to type in for §50,000, or type money (number you want).
Cheat command
ps4 / xbox ~ hold down all 4 trigers at the same time, type in ‘testingcheats on’ then enter motherload or other
PC ~ hole CTRL, Shift and C together to bring up cheat box, type ‘testingcheats on’ followed by money cheat.
