How to Start

The Bestselling Author Aspiration will take you through how to become an Author and how to make money doing it. there are many perks to writing books including the ability to writing mood books and the trait Poetic which allows sims to write the book of life, which can bring sims back to life.

Reward Trait Poetic ~ Poetic sims can capture life itself in a book, and wield it to bring back someone they’ve lost.

Book of Life

Once you have finished this aspiration you will be able to write the book of life, a ghost can read this book to come back to life.

Tips

Payments ~ You will get 20 payments each day at 10am, for the individual worth of each book (image of notification below).
On the sell to publisher or self publish menu, hoover over the book to see what it is worth
Sims in a particular mood can write books to do with that mood and then when a sim reads that book they will also get that mood buff, for instance an energized sim can white a workout guide, another sim can read this and become energised.

1) Fledge-linguist

Write 2 books ~ to write books get a computer or go to the library.
Write for 1 Hour while inspired ~ Taking a thoughtful shower will get sims in an inspired mood, however there are many other ways to get inspired.

2) Competent Wordsmith

Achieve level 4 writing skill ~ here is a page dedicated to the Writing Skill.
Have Written for 15 Hours ~ This does not have to be completed in 1 sitting.
Write 5 Good Books ~ To complete this keep writing and improving the writing skill and this will be completed in time.

3) Novelest Novelist

Achieve level 6 Writing Skill
Publish 10 Books ~ To publish books, write a book, the book will automatically go to your sims inventory, then go to the mail box and chose either self-publish.
Write 5 Excellent Books ~ This will with time and increasing the writing skill.

4) Bestselling Author

Achieve level 10 Writing Skill
Complete 3 bestsellers
Have earned §25,000 in royalties publishing books
