Writing songs in the sims 4 sounds easy doesn’t it! However many find this difficult as I, myself did when I first did it. Below is everything you need to know to write songs in the sims 4. At the bottom of this page are Tips.

Instruments

There are different instruments and they all have their own skill, It’s not just a music skill, I have guides on each skill, you can earn tips on all of them, when playing around other sims.

  • Guitar ~ The guitar can be carried around by the sim, in their inventory.
  • Piano ~ The piano cannot be carried around, however certain lots do have them on.
  • Pipe Organ ~ The piano cannot be carried around, however certain lots do have them on. comes with Vampires game pack.
  • Violin ~ The guitar can be carried around by the sim, in their inventory.

The Process

  1. Chose an instrument
  2. Get skill to level 8 on that instrument.
  3. Chose option to write song ~ This then goes into sims inventory when they stop writing as a piece of music paper. If sim has not finished writing, to continue click on paper and chose resume. THIS WILL NOT SHOW UP ON THE GUITAR AS RESUME. It also takes 12 hours t write one song.
  4. Once finished you can name the song.
  5. At level 9 you can use the mail box to ‘licence song’, the music sheet will have gone from your sims inventory.
  6. once at the mail box select which music you want to licence.

Tips

  • You can only Licence one one song per week per instrument. So there are 4 instruments so you could write one song on each and Licence them each for that 1 week.
  • You will get between §100 and §500 per pay-out for each song.
