How to start
Parenting is a skill that will help you parent your babies, toddlers, children and teens. They will unlock more parenting options and give you better options to help them. Sims can read to gain this skill or read a book.
Levels / Rewards
Level 1 ~ Sim can encourage behaviour in kids. Sim can Influence kids to clean. Sim can reprimand bad behaviour with interaction ‘ask to not to do that’ or by ‘yelling’.
Level 2 ~ Sim can influence kids to do homework. Sim can now firmly tell kids not to do bad behaviours. Sim can now select more options when responding to teaching moments.
Level 3 ~ Sim can help kids solve basic needs. Sim can give other sims parenting tips.
Level 4 ~ Sim can give time outs.
Level 5 ~ Sim can ground kids. Sim can discuss bad behaviour and hug it out instead.
Level 6 ~ Sim can see what babies need. Sim can comfort other parents when it gets tough.
Level 7 ~ Sim is more effective at influencing kids.
Level 8 ~ Sim now has a third option for helping children and teens when they ask for help. Sim is more likely to success when disciplining children.
Level 9 ~ Sim can always influence kids to do actions. Sim always knows how their advice will play out.
Level 10 ~ sim can solved all babies needs in one interaction. When sim does multiple parenting interactions they will enter full parent mode, where their own needs won’t be a problem.
Cheat / Tips / Mood
Cheats ~ stats.set_skill_level Major_Parenting 10
Traits ~ Family-Oriented will become happy when around family. opposite you can choose hates children who will then become angry when around children.
Aspirations ~ Super Parent, Successful Lineage and Big happy Family.
Tip ~ there is a parenting board that can be used to set curfews, write notes and draw pictures to each other. If a sims Child or teen then decides to go out they can be grounded.
Tip~ Ground will give you multiple options of what to ground the sim from not being allowed computer time, tv time and even not leaving the home, this is for a set amount of time.
Tip ~ Parenting skill will help you younger sims achieve their character values, there is a fine balance that is very hard to maintain.
